Thank you for posting I’ve only briefly glanced over the solution in your link, but I think it is fairly similar to the solution I posted above [although it uses an encompassing Viewbox, where I use a Canvas - there could be a difference there].

I’ve been moved off of the project that I had this problem for, but when it starts back up I’ll revisit the issue and your link for sure!

I got this to work by changing RenderTransform to LayoutTransform after reading this: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wpf/thread/b03ed069-1967-4a72-8cb1-52055e2b2154

I’m not sure if it fixes the issue in your case though, but it worked for me.

You can listen to the Storyboard “Completed” event, but I think that’s about it; having more events to listen to would be helpful for sure

Yeah, I don’t like that fact that you have to poll it manually though. I’m hoping they add some events into the Storyboard class in SL4.0 (StoryboardStopped, StoryboardStarted, etc…)

Yeah, at first I thought it was a really cool concept given what I *thought* I could do with it… but then as I got further along with it I figured out I couldn’t use it like that. Now I’m not sure what it *is* useful for.

And another important part of List is that it implements ObservableCollection which the DataGrid loves (or at least likes as a friend)!

I just happen to be working with JS right now too! Had the inspiration to wrap the functions into an object so there can be multiple instances The things that bring programmers joy.
